At EBSI, the protection of client assets and interests is our top priority. We would like to draw your attention to the following matters:
(1) All trading accounts are non-discretionary in nature
All trading accounts opened with EBSI are non-discretionary accounts. Our client agreement, along with its schedules (as well as other client communications), clearly state that the trading accounts held by clients are non-discretionary. EBSI strictly prohibits any discretionary operations on client’s non-discretionary accounts. Wealth Managers of EBSI must obtain explicit instructions from clients before processing any orders or requests. Clients should not authorize or allow any person (including your Wealth Manager) to make investment or trading decisions on your behalf. EBSI accepts no responsibility for any losses or liabilities related to discretionary trading.
(2) Protection of login credentials
Please ensure that you do not disclose the login ID, password, and/or one-time login password (“OTP”) of your online trading account to anyone (including your Wealth Manager) via phone, social media, SMS, email, or any other means. Additionally, do not share the computer or mobile device you use to access your online trading account with anyone (including your Wealth Manager). Providing any of the above login/security credentials or access rights to others may expose your account to significant risks of loss and fraud. EBSI accepts no responsibility for any losses resulting from such disclosures.
(3) Authorized methods to modify client information
You may modify your personal information or corporate account details through authorized means specified by EBSI (such as phone number, email address, correspondence address, and preferences for receiving official account statements). To protect your interests, we will confirm your instructions via verification phone calls, emails, or messages. Using unauthorized methods to modify your personal information or corporate account details may expose your account to significant risks, such as unauthorized access or fraud.
